Dan Duguay credits his success with the fact that he is passionate about music and loves to see people laugh and have fun. As early as two years old, he danced to popular music to make his parents and grandparents laugh.
Dan caught the performance bug in his early teens when he discovered his singing voice. He learned to do two things simultaneously with hours of practice: play guitar and sing. He would often sing and play for anyone listening for the next few years.
Once he decided to get other parts of his body in on the orchestration, his destiny was sealed. He could gather a crowd nearly anyplace he went.
Even though he has been fortunate enough to play music for a living, has performed thousands of shows, and traveled to every habitable continent, he still gets the biggest thrill from the spontaneity and interaction with the audience. A yappy dog is always fodder for a duet of “Hound Dog,” or a dancing child will always be encouraged to share their talents with the rest of the audience.
Dan’s show is unique from other musical acts because of his street performer training. His ability to read a crowd, react to the crowd and captivate a spontaneous moment is second to none.
Street festivals, fairs, exhibitions, corporate events, parties, cd releases, Hollywood movies, sporting events, weddings, boat cruises, schools, marriage, two children…The band keeps playing and won’t stop!

Dan the One Man Band comes fully equipped for the show. His high-powered portable sound system allows him to perform anywhere. His roving shows are a welcome addition to any fair or festival. Entertaining lineups waiting to enter the gates, get on a ride, have their face painted, or get a balloon sculpture are the perfect spots for Dan’s
show.
